Carly Kowalczyk, FNP-C has been in practicing in Arizona as a nurse practitioner since 2014. Prior to that, she was a registered nurse who worked primarily as a resource and spent time in all areas of the hospital but enjoyed working in the intensive care unit and emergency room the most. She spent a lot of time exploring the field of nursing from working with children in oncology and transplants, to surgery, to women’s medicine and even spent several years recovering open-heart surgery patients in the Intensive care unit which was where she decided that she enjoyed autonomy and wanted to care for patients directly. She is fascinated by the human body and its innate ability to heal itself in many situations given the right environment.
She graduated from Arizona State University with her Bachelor’s degree in nursing and then went on to get her Master’s degree at Grand Canyon University in April of 2014. She has three children ages 13, 5, and 1 and enjoys spending time with her family watching them learn and grow. Since 2014, Carly has been working in with healthy and chronically ill patients focusing on improving their health in all areas.
