Danielle Sikorski has had a wide variety of experiences as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. These include managing the Nutrition and Weight Management Program at Lifetime Fitness, a large health and wellness facility, providing nutrition counseling for pre and post op patients in a Bariatric Clinic, providing nutritional guidance to children, adults and teens in a behavioral health hospital and working in an outpatient functional medical clinic. Her clients include those with weight loss and weight gain goals, diabetes management, chronic diseases, food allergies, autoimmune diseases among others. She also assists with meal planning. Danielle believes in the Integrative and Functional Medicine philosophy which centers on a holistic, “Food as Medicine” approach to wellness, and is based firmly in the Integrative Medicine model. Whole-food therapies, targeted supplements, and mind-body modalities form the basis of “Integrative and Functional Medical Nutrition Therapy”. Danielle can relate to others with food concerns, since she was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in addition to autoimmune diseases and food intolerances. These conditions have given her first-hand experience with choosing the right foods to manage pain, increase energy, and still enjoy meals. She helps people find joy in the foods they can eat instead of focusing on their limitations. Danielle believes that healthy eating is a way of life. She will equip you with the tools to maintain healthy habits in a realistic manner for the long run.
