James Rice NP, a Colorado Native born in Denver, has been in the medical field since 1993. He worked as a nursing assistant while attending Arapahoe Community College for his first nursing degree completed in 1998. While working as a RN he attended Regis University finishing RN-BSN in 2002. James continued his training in Regis University’s master’s program for Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), graduating in 2004, James has worked full time since then specializing in adult medical oncology. He spent a year working for an eldercare program, 2012-2013, returning to oncology for another 4 years in Grand Junction, Colorado. Wanting a change James began working in adult correctional medicine and will be providing medical service to people unable or preferring not to travel to physician’s office.
