MaryAnn Martin, DNP, FNP B.C has been in full time clinical practice as a Nurse Practitioner since 2004 and Registered Nurse since 1994. Prior to becoming an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner she was active duty in the United States Army Nurse Corp working in the Intensive Care Unit at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. She completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at Chamberlain University and her Masters in Family Nurse Practitioner degree at the University of Central Florida. She has worked in various specialties during her career as a Nurse Practitioner including Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, Organ Transplant Coordination, Neurology, and has been a Nurse Practitioner faculty instructor in the University setting. She emphasizes health prevention and promotion in practice and values patient centered care and evidenced based practice. She always includes all components of patient collaboration, care coordination, and education to optimize the health and wellness of the every patient.
